Homemaker Services at Healing Heart

At Healing Heart, our Homemaker services provide non-medical assistance with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) to help individuals maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment. These services are designed to support independence while reducing the physical and emotional strain of household responsibilities.

Our Homemaker services are ideal for seniors, individuals with disabilities, and adults who need extra support to remain safely in their homes. All services are delivered in accordance with state home care regulations and individualized service plans.

Homemaker Services Include Assistance With:

Household Support (IADLs):

1. Light housekeeping (dusting, sweeping, mopping, laundry)
2. Meal planning and meal preparation (non-specialized diets)
3. Dishwashing and kitchen cleanup
4. Making beds and changing linens
5. Trash removal and organization

Errands & Daily Support:

1. Grocery shopping and essential errands
2. Prescription pick-up (no medication administration)
3. Accompaniment to appointments or community activities

Home Safety & Well-Being:

1. Maintaining a safe, clutter-free living environment
2. Observation and reporting of safety concerns or changes in condition to authorized individuals
